Mission

The Kinesiology Students Association (KSA) is a voluntary, student-run organization comprised of undergraduate, Kinesiology majors. KSA is a great opportunity for students and provides numerous benefits for all those involved. Primarily, KSA aims to:

  • create unity within the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health as well as the College of Applied Life Studies through social settings, informal faculty-student interactions, and involvement in the Applies Life Studies Student Council
  • give students the opportunity to explore the many careers within Kinesiology through guest speakers and discussion
  • promote service within both the college itself and the community. Countless volunteer opportunities are offered, and scholarships are given to reward service.
  • create a strong network among students, faculty, and professionals

Regular meetings welcome guest speakers in an effort to educate KSA members about future careers, graduate schools, and more. Each meeting also provides students with service opportunities and volunteer information. Here, students are also given the chance to discuss educational/career concerns with fellow members.

All Kinesiology students are welcome, and we are always looking for new members! So, JOIN TODAY!
